A range of samples from patients previously tested either for HIV-1/2 Ag/Ab via Architect platform or for HIV-1 Viral Load via Roche, were re-tested using the Determine® HIV-1/2 Ag/Ab Combo. These samples made up six panels, and included:
1. High positive viral load sample (>10,000)
2. Low positive viral load samples from patients NOT on treatment
3. Positive sample with high Architect values (>300 vs. Dynamic range of 0-800)
4. Positive samples with low Architect values (<100)
5. Patient samples tested negative by Architect HIV-1/2 Ag/Ab screen
6. A range of samples from suspected seroconversion patients
