FUJI DRI-CHEM 4000i at Alere

The Fuji Dri-Chem 4000i is a compact automated analyser using dry slide technology. It would ideally be placed in small labs of Point of Care environments; its ease of use allows operation by laboratory staff or appropriately trained non-laboratory personnel.

Repertoire of 29 Biochemistry assays: 3 electrolytes and 26 enzymatic/immunological assays
Throughput of 77 tests per hour
Able to test serum, plasma or whole blood
Assays take between 1 and 6 minutes; a panel of 10 tests can be completed within 14 minutes
Individual sealed slides have a shelf life of approx 18 months
Instrument maintenance is minimal
