FITC-RPE Reagents
Multimix™ Dual-Colour Reagents from Dako are a quality range based on a combination of a FITC (Fluorescein Isothiocyanate Isomer 1) conjugated antibody and an RPE (R-Phycoerythrin) conjugated antibody.
Both these flourochromes can be excited by the 488nm argon laser. However, the emission spectra are spatially separated with the peak emission of FITC at 520nm and that of RPE at 570nm as displayed graphically in the image on the right. (R denotes a given region and is dependable upon the protocol used).
The use of Dako Multimix Dual-Colour reagents allow for the simultaneous identification of specific cell populations and comprehensive diagnostic results to be gleaned with a reduced number of antibodies. They also offer flexibility as additional antibodies can be ‘dropped-in’ dependant on the laboratory equirments.
These reagents also save time and give greater confidence as the reagents are already pre-mixed for you. For your ease of use and preference the corresponding controls are also available in this Multimix Dual-Colour Reagents format.
