Alere supports the SSHA (Society of Sexual Health Advisers) Meeting, Brighton. September 11th - 13th 2009
Over 100 delegates joined a diverse range of healthcare professionals working in primary and secondary care as well as charitable and academic organisations working in the sexual health arena for the 2009 SSHA meeting in Brighton.
Alere joined colleagues from the pharmaceutical, diagnostics and charitable organisations to support this meeting hosted by the Brighton Sexual Health Team to make this an excellent interactive meeting promoting the innovative Determine rapid HIV Ag/Ab test bringing laboratory Generation 4 technology to the front line of sexual health care.

Approximately 50 delegates attended the Alere stand to discuss both Determine Ag/Ab HIV and Determine Syphilis rapid testing just as many were in the process of introducing or evaluating further access to rapid testing technologies in their respective clinics and centres.
Delegates attended from all parts of the UK to make this a highly successful meeting.
