Connecting with NHS Health Checks
Our goal is to ensure the appropriate use of diagnostics to deliver improved health outcomes, better patient experiences and more cost effective care pathways.
The NHS is being asked to implement a uniform and universal vascular risk assessment and management programme called ‘vascular checks’ for people in England aged between 40 and 74, the proposals for which were set out in Putting Prevention First published on 1 April 2008.
Alere is already working with many PCTs to provide service delivery solutions tailored to meet local requirements.
