Preventive Health: More effective care for the elderly needed
More effective care for the elderly that delivers value for money will be the priority in the coming years, a Senior Health Department official has said.
David Behan CBE, Director General for Social Care, Local Government and Care Partnerships at the Department for Health, made his comments at the Preventive Health 2010 Conference.
