Alere Limited is a proud patron of the NSPCC FULL STOP APPEAL.
As part of this commitment we have pledged to raise £100,000 for the NSPCC over a 10 year period. In order to achieve this goal we hold a variety of fundraising events.
The annual corporate 'Strictly Come Dancing' is hugely successful with performances ranging from the sublime to the ridiculous. Competition is fierce with six brave members of staff having just four weeks to learn to dance, aided and abetted by partners from a local dance school. With many hours of rehearsals and training under the expert eye of our own Pat Savage who is a fully qualified dance teacher. In addition to the fund-raising events, each member of staff pays £1 every month for a dress down day at the office.
Other events include our annual Charity Golf Day now in its fourth year, A Christmas Cracker theatre show. The company has organised many charity events over the past few years and has so far raised a massive £75,000.
