Connecting withWomen's Health

For the past couple of years the Women's Health team at Alere have worked closely with the charity (APEC) Action on Pre-Eclampsia, in bringing awareness of preeclampsia to the nation. The charity provides support and information for both the midwives and the women who have been affected by this devastating syndrome.

APEC recently held their annual DAU forum on September the 1^st in London which consisted of a host of brilliant lectures and workshops. The presentations given by respected and established clinicians discussed today's patient pathways and recent research into improved diagnosis through placental markers.
